Identity and Access Management (IAM) in the cloud has emerged as an important issue for IT and Security teams across all types of organizations.  Still many strategic questions remain around migrating IAM to the cloud.
To address the many questions around what it takes to move IAM to the cloud BrightTALK has put together a panel to discuss this in detail.  The panel discussion will take aim at the tough questions facing CSOs and CIOs when considering IAM in the cloud. This panel will clarify the major points that organizations have to get right to ensure a successful migration of IAM services to the cloud and how to discover what model makes the most sense for their organization.
We have a great group of experts who bring a diversity of views on identity and access management. Our goal as a panel will be to give you enough actionable insight and understanding of the trade-offs to inform your decision making when thinking about IAM and what parts of your security to move to the cloud.
The Panel will include:
Jim Reno
Jim is the Chief Architect for Security at CA Technologies. He joined CA with the Arcot acquisition. At Arcot Jim led the development of strong authentication and risk management systems. He has more than 30 years’ experience in software development, working on operating systems, databases, networking, systems management and security. At CA he guides the overall architecture of CA’s security products as well as security aspects of the entire CA portfolio.
Josh Hammer

Josh Hammer has an extensive background in the financial services industry, implementing IAM software, as well as providing guidance within enterprise clients’ IAM programs. Carlos Garica
Carlos Garcia is an architect and manager of Identity and Access Management services at a
large fortune 50 HealthCare company and has 15 years of operations experience implementing
and supporting various IAM solutions. Carlos is the local chair of the Ping and CA Twin Cities
user groups, but when not looking at the latest innovations in the IAM space, is also an avid
motorcycle photographer.
