Kantara Identity Assurance Framework (KIAF): SP 800-63-4 Service Assessment Criteria (SAC) & Statement of Criteria Applicability (SoCA)
This notice informs the Kantara Initiative Community that draft assessment criteria documents aligned with NIST SP 800-63-4 are open for Public Review and Comment.
The current Kantara Initiative Identity Assurance approval process is based on SP 800-63-3. Kantara is updating its criteria to align with SP 800-63-4, published in July 2025, and invites community feedback as part of this update.

Participants are encouraged to review each tab in the draft spreadsheets. Cross-referencing will be completed as part of the final publication process.
Draft criteria for SP 800-63-4C (Federation and Assertions) will be released next.
