Group Participation Agreement (GPA)

Thank you for your interest in participating in the work of Kantara Initiative. We encourage you to explore all our Work and Discussion Groups and actively participate in any that best suit your knowledge and expertise. You do not have to be a member of Kantara to participate in a Work or Discussion Group. However, we strongly encourage you to take out full membership and enjoy the full benefits and profile-raising activities that we offer.

By agreeing to this Group Participation Agreement (GPA), you agree to the suite of policies that govern the processes and operations of each group, including a Kantara IPR Policy  

Please note: should you wish to participate in multiple groups, you will need to complete a separate GPA for each group you join, noting that the IPR Policy may be different for each group.

Thank you for your interest in participating in this Kantara Work / Discussion Group. Kantara Initiative encourages you to explore all its groups and actively participate in any that you believe your knowledge and expertise is best suited. Participation does not require you to hold Kantara membership. The Kantara Initiative is a global consortium improving the trustworthy use of identity and personal data through innovation, standardization and good practice. Please carefully review the suite of policies that govern the processes and operations pertaining to this group, because by agreeing to this Group Participation Agreement (GPA) you are agreeing to be bound by these policies. Each group is governed by one Kantara IPR Policy from the options approved for use and included in the suite of policies referred to above. In the form below, you will be asked to agree only to the one IPR policy under which the group is operating. Also, please note that the suite of policies contains Kantara's Privacy Policy regarding data collection and usage. You are encouraged to read and understand it. Should you have any questions please contact the Kantara staff. If you choose to participate in multiple groups you will need to complete a GPA for each group you join, noting that the IPR Policy may be different for each group. Use your organization email address if agreeing to participate on behalf of an organization, or your personal email address if agreeing to participate as an individual.
If your organization is a not a member of Kantara, you must use your personal email address.
Please enter the name of the Legal Entity entering into the Group Participation Agreement with Kantara. If you are agreeing on behalf of a company, please enter the company's legal name. If on behalf of yourself or when your organization is not a paid member of Kantara, please enter 'N/A'.

Authority to execute this Agreement
If this request is being made by an employee of an organization, you acknowledge that you have permission from your organization to execute this GPA. If the employer is a Kantara member organization, and the employee wants to join the Group but does not want to have their employer notified, then please sign the GPA as an Individual. If the organization is not a member of Kantara Initiative, you acknowledge that you are executing this GPA on behalf of yourself as an individual. If, after signing this GPA, your employment status changes you are required to sign a new GPA under your new employer or as an individual.
