Application for Certification

The Application for Certification is the formal starting point for an organization seeking certification of its service under the Kantara Initiative International Assurance Program (KIIAP).

It records the Applicant's details, the service to be certified, the selected scheme (NIST SP 800-63 Revision 3 or Revision 4), and the claimed assurance levels, and confirms the Applicant's acceptance of its obligations under the program. Together with the S3A, and the tailored SoCA, it forms the application package reviewed by the Secretariat and the Assurance Review Body before assessment commences.
