Our UK Certification Program allows identity service providers to measure compliance against the UK government’s DIATF requirements. When you have completed the certification process, you will be awarded a Kantara Initiative Trust Mark. This demonstrates to clients that your product or service ensures compliance to the strictest standards for privacy and security. It also supports implementations of identity checks for Disclosure & Barring Service, Right to Rent and Right to Work
Get in touch! We'll ask you to complete a scoping form so we can get an accurate picture of the product or service to be assessed and provide you with a formal proposal.
If you accept our proposal, you will be asked to self-attest by completing a Statement of Conformity and Service Description. Our UK-based team will then review your application.
A specialist Kantara auditor will review your application to determine readiness for the Stage 2 Audit.
Our auditor will conduct a full assessment on-site to validate that your service conforms against all the requirements of the DIATF.
We have a dedicated Trust Certification Board that will review the final auditor's report. If the audited service is determined as conformant, we will award you a formal certificate (hard and soft copy) and relevant Trust Mark. You can then share your award with clients and partners to demonstrate that your organisation adheres to the highest possible standards with regards to identity and privacy.
A surveillance audit will be performed 12 months after the Stage 2 audit so you retain your certificate.
Your service will be listed on our website and the DSIT website.
