Kantara Identity & Privacy Incubator

The Kantara Identity and Privacy Incubator (KIPI) is a Trust-oriented R&D program operated by Kantara Initiative with funding from partner Rutgers University, through its program, Command, Control, and Interoperability Center for Advanced Data Analysis (CCICADA). The projects were supported via awards provided by the Department of Homeland Security Science & Technology (S&T) Directorate.

The program comprised a series of applied research and advanced development pilots to improve identity management and privacy in real-world situations to deliver trusted services to citizens and customers, that in due course could potentially be commercialized. The three funded project performers were Exponent Inc., Lockstep Technologies and Gluu Inc.
