[WG-P3] Google Plus "primarily" an identity service

Interesting report that Eric Schmidt said Google Plus was build "primarily" as an identity service.
They are already verifying identities of celebrities and people who are in "many" circles. Perhaps Google figured out how to use networks as the fourth authentication modality, something that has been discussed in the academic press for several years. After all, "someone who knows you" is the way identity verification has worked in the physical world for centuries.
