I like the proposed write up as it gives potential Kantara presenters enough room to fit a lot of topics under its umbrella.
I have a challenge with the title "Connnected Life - to - Industry 4.0: How to bridge the gap" however. From my brief read to understand the two terms I don't see a gap between them - they seem to be different perspectives of the same basic view. The Connect Life view seems to be more consumer based while the Industy 4.0 view seems to be more industry based. Given my understanding I would suggest the title: Towards Connected Life and Industry 4.0: How to Bridge the Gap.
In addition I would also like to propose a few minor wordsmithing changes:
Identity is a critical component of the Industry 4.0 and Connected Life digital transformation. This workshop comprises interesting sessions that explore the evolution of how our interpersonal lives weave through industry. The innovation and adoption of IoT technologies is changing the world as we know it providing vast potential for economic growth and social prosperity. But the risk vector is significant. Mitigating those risks will help to ensure the realization of the broadest positive impacts for social, corporate, national and global prosperity. Come and hear about the activities of the Kantara Initiative and of others, working to reduce the challenges and leverage these opportunities. In this workshop, we will discuss both policy and protocol implications, especially data protection, access management, and privacy controls. Specific topics include privacy best practices for IoT, the influence of blockchain on identity, and Kantara's approach to OAuth for identity federation at scale via its OTTO Working Group.
NOTE: The change from "Identity Management" to "Identity": In my opinion Identity Management is an old term that implies managing people's identity. I would suggest that Identity implies Identification which is more relevant to what needs to be done.

Due to that very productive call today, we didn't get to this.
As Joni spread out some actions in play last week across Ruth, Allan, Robin and me, and no doubt others, this was one that landed with me.
This is about the title and theme of Kantara's European workshop in Munich in the run up to the European Identity and Clould Conference. We have done it for several years now alongside others such as OIX, OASIS etc.
If you read 'bottom up' you'll get the sense of what the event organisers are focussing this year's themes on .. blockchain, IoT, Industry 4.0..
This is why Joni reached out to Mike and the OTTO WG and Ingo and the the IdoT DG.
Then we had a quick de-brief from Sal, fresh from from Gartner, reflecting on how close Kantara's activities were, to Gartner's near term view of the identity space.
So we thought we should pause a moment, and ask the LC if we the original track was the right one, or we point it more towards Gartners 'connected life' and LMP direction.
I'd welcome your views and wordsmithing!
By Friday please!
That is our absolute deadline.

For discussion in AOB for today's call..
Latest working draft so far..
Connnected Life - to - Industry 4.0: How to bridge the gap
Identity Management is a critical component of Industry 4.0 digital transformation. This workshop comprises interesting sessions that explore the evolution of how our interpersonal lives weave through industry. The innovation and adoption of IoT technologies is changing the world as we know it. There is vast potential for IoT to support economic growth and social prosperity. But the risk vector is significant. Mitigating those risks will help to ensure the realization of the broadest positive impacts. Come and hear about activities at the Kantara Initiative and others, working to reduce the challenges and leverage the opportunities. Together, we will discuss both policy and protocol implications, especially data protection, access management, and privacy controls. thanks for your mail and sorry for my late reply. I have added your workshop to the agenda draft and will publish it as soon as we have Title and a first abstract defined.
I think that your focus is good and fits nicely into the Connected Consumer / Connected Human / LMP / Privacy / blockchain topic range of EIC.
Question: Have you considered that blockchain / smart contracts might be a relevant topic for you? This does involve all the topics you are covering and might therefore be a good addition.
IoT and “Industry 4.0” will also have quite some room in the agenda. One thing I´m currently working on is a 1hr session the IoT standards battle. If you like I could make you co-moderator of the track containing this session.
So, as a next step, propose me a title and a short abstract for your workshop. I will then comment. Much faster ;)
