Many things or points, things are source of attributes as well as a
credential as well as a relying party.   

Maybe mapping different iot things to emitters, receivers, transmitters and
identity “components” might be useful?

So what does that mean for the identity of things? 
That the protocol/s for identity are these ones as well?
I guess so, but not sure that *has* to be the case. Idealistically, identity
could agree on using one protocol .. could it not? Or would that be too
hard/heavy to implement and deploy that way..?

hey Colin, the XMPP vs CoAP vs MQTT war going on in IOT reminds me of SAML
vs OpenID vs iNames vs Infocards of the identity world 5 years ago
