Thanks for this Judi.

It would be interesting to build an overview of the component costs of  
an organisation managing a customer record from acquisition to archive  
(hopefully without loss but we could include that). I know of one  
organisation that estimates their annual cost of maintaining a record  
at upwards of £200. (and yes they are up for looking at alternate ways  
to do this....).
