==================================================
All -
This is a call for you to vote on who should receive the Kantara
Initiative Most Valuable Participant (MVP) Award for 2009. As this will
be a secret ballot, please send your vote to
staff at kantarainitiative.org according to the options listed below.
As a reminder, the Kantara Initiative MVP Award will show our
appreciation for the participant who has clearly worked hard, showed
leadership, and provided the most valuable contributions to their
Working Group or Discussion Group during the past year.
The participant selected as the Kantara Initiative MVP will be
recognized at the RSA Security Conference in San Francisco in March. In
order to attend, the MVP will also receive a complimentary pass to the
conference (valued at US$2,195).
Also, in case the selected MVP is unable to attend the RSA Security
Conference, the recipient can opt to transfer the pass to someone else.
That person will then accept the MVP award on behalf of the MVP.
Again, do NOT reply to this email. Send your vote to:
staff at kantarainitiative.org
The nominees are (alphabetical by last name):
1. J. Trent Adams
2. Paul Madsen
3. Eve Maler
4. Colin Wallis
5. David Wasley
Your options:
A. Send your email vote indicating the one name from the list
above that you feel should receive the 2009 Kantara
Initiative MVP award.
B. Send your email vote with an "ABSTAIN" if you abstain
from this ballot.
This vote requires a Simple Majority to pass (i.e. more than 50% of
votes received - excluding abstentions).
Voting Deadline: Friday, February 12th at 23:59 UTC.
Happy voting,
Trent
