Hello Kantara colleagues,

The UMA WG has completed its tasks on its validator bounty award program. You can see the results and relevant links here:

http://kantarainitiative.org/confluence/display/uma/UMA+Validator+Bounty+Program

The specific motion in our meeting yesterday, carried by unanimous consent, was: The bounty award should be split $2500/$1500 to Cordny Nederkoorn and Project hData, and in the event that hData can't accept the award, the WG requests of Kantara that $1500 be allocated towards developing a validator in 2011.

The reason for the latter clause is that the Project hData submitters, who work for MITRE, have already told us that they can't accept a monetary bounty award. So we have recommended turning that portion of the award money into a new 2011 budget allocation request as necessary. (We know it's late in the cycle to do that, but figured it couldn't hurt to ask. If the occasion arises, please let me-with-my-LC-secretary-hat-on know and I can add it to the list of 2011 budget allocation requests etc.)

I hereby ask the Kantara Treasurer and staff to arrange to pay the bounty award according to the agreed-on ground rules in the bounty program. Here are contact details for the submitters:

Cordny Nederkoorn <cclnederkoorn at hotmail.com> (note that he is based in the Netherlands)
Mark A. Kramer <MKRAMER at mitre.org>
Gerald Beuchelt <beuchelt at mitre.org>

If you have any questions, please let me know. Thank you,

	Eve
