Kantara Initiative grants Europoint jurisdiction to perform FICAM assessments

April 3 2014, Piscataway, NJ – Kantara Initiative announces the re-Accreditation of Europoint as a Kantara-Accredited Assessor able to perform Kantara Service Assessments at Assurance Levels 1, 2, 3 and 4. In addition, Europoint has been granted extended jurisdiction to perform assessments that use the FICAM technical and additional service criteria.
FICAM is a US government effort to provide support for Federal Identity, Credential, and Access Management (FICAM) business functions within the Federal Government. The framework of requirements applies to identity providers that offer services to US Federal Government agencies.
Europoint is approved to perform Kantara Assessments in the jurisdictions of Sweden, Europe, and the United States. With this Accreditation Kantara and Europoint are well positioned to provide Trust Framework Approval programs to European markets.
