Welcome to the home of the Proposed Multi-Protocol Identity Selector (aka "Identity In The Browser") Discussion Group.

To establish the requirements and coordinate development of the specifications necessary for a multi-protocol selector, i.e., an identity client application that can speak multiple identity protocols while still providing:

a) a common user experience (proposed to be based on the Information Card metaphor)
b) a common discovery method
c) a common browser communications interface
d) a common user identity data interface
e) a common local security model
